If you love jazz music, mark your calendar now for the definitive San Antonio jazz event! This Friday, the 36th Annual Jazz'SAlive kicks off at Travis Park. Be there when it kicks off at 5:00 p.m!
Jazz'SAlive is the City of San Antonio’s premier outdoor music, arts, culture, and heritage festival. The Main Stage will showcase Dianne Reeves, The Lao Tizer Band, Tomar & The FC's Aaron Prado with Jacqueline Sotelo and Johnny P, Ken Slavin, The US Air Force Band Dimensions in the Blue, The Jazz Protagonists, Will Owen Gage & Gage The Alamotones, and the Adrian Ruiz Quintet.
The festival will also feature a second stage with a full lineup of notable regional performers. In addition to the musical line-up, lawn games and other free activities, such as the popular Creative Youth Village will be offered. Delicious craft food and a variety of local food trucks will be spaced for all to enjoy.
The festival will also host multiple beer stations, along with a cocktail tent, where attendees over the age of 21 can enjoy craft cocktails from local mixologists, and a spectacular view of the main stage. The festival will also include a fun morning brunch with local eats and morning treats.
The luxurious St. Anthony Hotel will play host to two Jazz’SAlive officials after parties on the hotel’s rooftop Sky Terrace. The “Old Fashioned” Swing Dance and the ever-popular Wine-Down After Party will feature intimate and energetic musical performances as well as specialty wines and cocktails.
The Jazz’SAlive festival is presented by the San Antonio Parks Foundation. The San Antonio Parks Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) organization whose mission is to provide enhancements to the parks of the City of San Antonio and the County of Bexar which improve the quality of life for all of our citizens. In addition to providing monetary support for park projects, the San Antonio Parks Foundation also acquires land for dedicated park space and natural areas through the donation of land or purchase.
